In his best-selling book 'The Sports Gene: Inside the Science of Extraordinary Athletic Performance,' Sports Illustrated writer David Epstein (a newly-minted TI enthusiast) writes that learned (i.e. not innate) perceptual skills are a hallmark of expert athletic performance.

In this Swim Academy webinar, Terry Laughlin explains how he took his own sensory perception from average to acute over the past 20 years.
